In this class, we will learn to prepare the classic Peruvian ceviche. Pisco tasting and pairing drink is included
EL NIKKEI COMBO
$125 per person
In this class, along with learning to prepare the classic traditional Peruvian ceviche, we will start by making a tuna Tiradito, which is the direct influence of Japanese Peruvians and their Nikkei cuisine. Pisco tasting and pairing drinks included.

Welcome to the Taller de Ceviche! I'm Alex Lazo de la Vega, better known as Chef Lazo, and I'm excited to invite you to join me in a hands-on culinary adventure where you'll learn the secrets behind one of Peru's most iconic dishes: ceviche. El Clásico and El Nikkei Combo
The workshop features two distinct experiences: El Clásico and El Nikkei Combo. El Clásico focuses on the traditional Peruvian ceviche, where you'll learn essential techniques such as knife skills, ingredient handling, and the perfect timing for marinating fish. Ceviche is a dish that is the emblematic national dish of Peru, and with a little bit of practice, anyone can make it to perfection.
El Nikkei Combo pays homage to the Japanese influence on Peruvian cuisine, blending traditional flavors with Asian ingredients. During this part of the workshop, we’ll create a ceviche that incorporates sashimi influences, using Peruvian hot peppers and more Asian ingredients. This unique fusion creates a vibrant and exciting culinary experience that showcases the versatility of Peruvian cuisine.

Throughout the Taller de Ceviche, you’ll gain practical, hands-on experience. From selecting the freshest ingredients to mastering the delicate balance of flavors that define a perfect ceviche, I'll guide you every step of the way. We’ll also enjoy a Pisco tasting and beer pairing, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the workshop.
